In the 2023-2024 academic year, an Orientation Meeting was held for the new students who enrolled in our department. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Hava ÖZAY, the Vice Deans, Assoc. Prof.  Filiz KAHRAMAN ALİÇAVUŞ and Assoc. Prof. Mert GÜRKAN, the Department Chair Asst. Prof. Berrin GÜLTAY, Department faculty members, Assoc. Prof. Burcu MESTAV and Assoc. Prof. Tuğba SÖKÜT AÇAR, and the academic advisor for the first-year students Lect. Dr. Kumru URGANNCI TEKİN, along with our students. In this well-attended program, the students were provided with information about the department, our department's website, the student information system, the education catalog, institutional accreditation efforts, and student clubs.
